Promo Mechanics

Eligibility

  1. This promo is open to all China Bank Mastercard Cardholders (“Cardholder/s”) whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing*.
  2. To join the Promotion, Cardholder must use a valid China Bank Mastercard for a minimum Php5,000 single receipt purchase at any participating branch of The SM Store.
  3. Straight and installment transactions using a valid China Bank Mastercard in-store and through Call-To-Deliver-Service are eligible for the promotion, except transactions paid via iPay88/email billing.
  4. Cardholders whose accounts are suspended or terminated are not eligible to join the promotion.

Promotion Mechanics and Conditions for One Million Shopping Money

  1. Every Php5,000 single-receipt straight or installment transaction from The SM Store paid using Philippine-issued credit, debit, or prepaid Mastercard entitles a cardholder to one (1) electronic raffle entry for a chance to win One Million worth of Shopping Money (SM Gift Cards).
    • Cardholder gets double entries if:
      • Present his/her SM Advantage or SM Prestige Card
  2. Purchase of cell cards, phone cards, SM Gift Cards, SM Gift Pass, Concert Tickets, Returns, Bills Payment Products, and other products at the Customer Service Counter are not entitled to any raffle entry.
  3. Promotion period is from October1 to December 31, 2021
    Electronic Raffle Draw will be held at the MCI Office, 4th Floor One E-com Center, Harbor Drive, Mall of Asia Complex Pasay City, in the presence of DTI and SM representative.
  4. There will be One (1) winner of P1Million worth of Shopping Money (SM Gift Cards) that will be randomly selected using an e-raffle system.

  6. SM to shoulder the cost of 20% prize tax. 
  7. Prizes are not convertible to cash and not transferrable.
  8. For Non-SMAC Winner - issuing bank of the winning card will notify the winner by either SMS, call-out, EDM, or registered mail on how to claim the prize.
  9. For SMAC Winner - DAC (Digital Advantage Corp) will notify the winner by SMS, call-out or registered mail on how to claim the prize.
  10. Winners will be given sixty (60) days upon receipt of notification to claim the prize. After the 60-days claiming period, unclaimed prizes will be forfeited in favor of The SM Store with the prior approval of DTI.
  11. Upon claiming the prize, winner must present and submit the following:
    1. One (1) government issued I.D.  with photo (e.g. Driver’s License, SSS card, Passport)
    2. Valid TIN
    3. Winning China Bank Mastercard – credit card used for the winning transaction
    4. Winners must sign the Claim Certificate prior to claiming of prize.
    5. If a representative is claiming the prize in behalf of the winner, he/she must present an authorization letter from the winner, photocopy of winner’s card used for the winning transaction and valid identification (Passport, Driver’s License or SSS I.D. of both the winner and his/her representative). The winner’s representative must also present original copies of the same required valid forms of identification and a copy of the winner’s TIN.
  12. The SM Store and Mastercard Philippines reserves the right to disclose and publish names, photos and other information of the winners in any mode or manner as they deem appropriate.
  13. Employees of The SM Store, Mastercard, and its accredited advertising agencies and suppliers, and their family relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in the promotion.
     

Promotion Mechanics and Conditions for 10,000 Winners of P1,000 SM Gift Card

  1. A minimum P5,000 single receipt purchase (straight or installment transaction) at any branch of The SM Store nationwide gives the Cardholder a chance to win P1,000 worth of SM Gift Cards.
  2. There will be 10,000 winners of P1,000 nationwide.
  3. Promo Period is from October 1 – December 31, 2021, while claiming of prize will be from October 1 until March 1, 2022.
  4. Upon completing the minimum single-receipt transaction of P5,000 using China Bank Mastercard, SM transaction receipt will display and generate the following coupon indicating whether or not the customer wins an instant prize.
  5. Winning and non-winning message

  6. Prize is non-convertible to cash.
  7. How to claim the prize:
    1. For Instore Transactions - winner (Cardholder) must present the following documents at the Customer Service Counter of The SM Store where the transaction was made. Branch Marketing Manager or Customer Service Manager must verify the winning transaction prior to awarding of prizes to the cardholder:
      • Original Winning Transaction Receipt
      • Original Winning charge slip
      • Original Winning Stub
      • Winning China Bank MasterCard
      • Valid ID
    2. For Call To Deliver Transactions –The SM Store Branch rider/designated driver will release/deliver the Prize to the winner.
       
  8. Winner must surrender and sign the original winning stub.
  9. The Transaction receipt and winning charge slip should be marked/stamped “CLAIMED” upon release of Prize.
  10. Cardholder can only claim his/her Prize at the same branch of The SM Store where transaction was made.
  11. The SM Store and Mastercard will not replace lost or damage Prizes caused by the winner (cardholder). 
  12. The SM Store and Mastercard Philippines reserves the right to disclose and publish names, photos and other information of the winners in any mode or manner as they deem appropriate.
  13. Employees of The SM Store, Mastercard, and its accredited advertising agencies and suppliers, and their family relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in the promotion.
